About Us

Based on the beautiful north Norfolk coast, Unique Metal Gates is a small fabrication company who are big on customer service and doing things a little bit differently.

With beginnings in the development and fabrication of woven steel fencing we received regular requests for handmade gates to fit our fencing. As they were becoming noticed by more people enquiries increased, so we set to work to develop the range you see today.

As a team we love the freedom to be creative. So whether we are working on a 60cm wide garden gate or a driveway gate spanning six metres, it is a great feeling to know they are enjoyed by our customers across the UK every day.

Trying to do our bit

Each year we pledge at least £1000 towards local charities. This is something we are fortunate enough to be able to do and we hope to be in a position to continue to do so. This is not reflected in our pricing. When it comes to the environment, being made of steel our products are infinitely recyclable however, we are mindful of the initial carbon footprint. To help alleviate this we have been running almost entirely on solar since December 2022 with a new 7.4kw installation. We recycle all waste materials and combine as many orders as we can on delivery runs to reduce miles. We do not use plastics in our packing with the exception of cable ties.
